Bird Watching

After watching the movie “The Big Year” recently, we have become interested in bird watching.

Driving around before this, it was pretty cool to look at birds, but now we seem to be keeping track of the birds that we see.  There is no way we will have a big year like they did in the movie, but it is fun trying to figure out what some of the birds are.  You think that it is one kind of bird, until you look into the bird book to verify it and find out it is one that is similar.

Here is a taste of some of the birds that we have seen.
